Lesson 2: Driver Profiles, Passwords, and User Support
Learn how dispatch/admin supports driver access before route work begins.
Why This Matters
Driver access issues slow down dispatch, delay route starts, and create unnecessary operational problems. Admin must know how to verify driver setup and support login issues quickly.
Step 1: Open the Drivers Screen
Use the Drivers screen to review driver records, confirm setup details, and support access issues.
- Search for the driver by name or driver number
- Confirm the driver profile exists
- Confirm the driver is active
- Confirm the correct driver information is listed
Step 2: Verify Driver Login Details
- Confirm the driver has the correct Driver ID
- Confirm the driver is using MobileTek
- Confirm the driver is not using another driver’s login
- Confirm the driver can reach the MobileTek login screen
Driver passwords should remain standardized as Rolo1234@ unless management officially changes the process.
Step 3: Reset Password Only When Needed
ROLO does not use random driver passwords as the normal process. If a password must be reset, follow the approved ROLO standard and confirm the driver can log in before leaving.
Watch This Example: Resetting a Password
Watch this walkthrough showing the password reset process.
Watch This Example: Driver Password Reset
This video shows the driver password reset workflow. Remember: ROLO’s standard driver password is Rolo1234@.
Step 4: Use User Help When Needed
If you are unsure where to find system help, use the built-in user help tools before guessing.
Watch This Example: Access User Help
Watch this walkthrough showing how to access user help inside the system.
Common Mistakes
- Letting a driver leave before confirming MobileTek access
- Using random passwords instead of the ROLO standard
- Allowing drivers to share logins
- Resetting access without confirming the driver can log in
- Guessing instead of using help tools or escalating
Success Check
You should now be able to:
- Find a driver profile
- Confirm driver access information
- Apply ROLO’s password standard
- Use user help tools
- Escalate login problems before route launch
