This lesson reviews the performance expectations for contractors servicing the Five Below account.
Performance Expectations
- Arrive within delivery windows
- Complete all pallet scans
- Use required equipment
- Deliver freight to the backroom
- Pick up empty pallets
- Communicate delays or issues immediately
- Represent ROLO professionally
Peak Season Reminder
During peak season, volume may increase and delivery schedules may become tighter. Contractors must remain flexible, prepared, and communicative.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Missing scans
- Arriving outside the delivery window without notice
- Leaving without picking up empty pallets
- Failing to report damaged freight
- Using equipment that is not route-ready
- Failing to communicate with dispatch
Contractor Acknowledgement
By servicing the Five Below account, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
- I understand a 26ft box truck, liftgate, and pallet jack are required at all times.
- I understand all pallets must be scanned correctly at delivery.
- I understand communication with dispatch is mandatory for delays, issues, or delivery problems.
- I understand store deliveries must follow Five Below procedures and delivery windows.
- I understand professionalism and customer service directly impact account performance.
- I understand failure to follow these standards may impact route eligibility.
