📘 Program Overview: Grow Where You Are: Vegetable Gardening for Resilience is an 8-week hybrid course designed to help first-time gardeners and small-space growers develop the knowledge and confidence to grow vegetables and herbs at home. Participants learn organic, low-cost gardening practices, food justice principles, and income-generating strategies through a supportive online learning platform and two live in-person events.
This course is free and open to the public, welcoming new and aspiring gardeners in ANY location. While all participants may access online content, only qualified applicants selected through a community raffle will receive physical starter kits and invitations to the in-person kickoff and closing events.
🏛️ Live Event Venue: In recognition of National Fruits and Vegetables Month, both the live kickoff and closing celebration will be hosted at Hillside International Truth Center,2450 Cascade Rd, Atlanta, GA 30311 in collaboration with Conscious Connection, and LC Career Center.

- Closing Celebration: Saturday, October 26, 2025 | 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
