Leslie Class is the driving force behind Learning Curve Career Center (LCC)—a transformative, technology-driven platform changing lives through education, career training, and sustainable lifestyle empowerment.

A proud woman of Puerto Rican ancestry, Leslie’s journey began in New York, where she became a mother at 16 and again at 19. Determined to build a better life, she earned her Clinical Medical Assistant certification and began her clinical career in 2004 as a phlebotomist. Over the next decade, she advanced through the healthcare field, working for renowned organizations such as Quest Diagnostics, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and New York Medical College, where she served as Practice Coordinator for the college’s physician group.

While managing a thriving practice, Leslie took night classes to strengthen her skillset. It was during this time that she was invited to teach an Administrative Front Office Skills class at PNW BOCES in Yorktown, NY—a moment that revealed her passion for teaching and sparked a mission that would become her life’s work.

“I saw myself in my students—young parents, underdogs, second-chance seekers. I knew what they needed because I had lived it.”

In 2007, Leslie founded LCC with heart, hustle, and two jobs to fund the dream. What began as a medical assistant certification prep center evolved into a nationwide and expanding global platform for eLearning, career development, wellness education, and sustainability.

A Mission Rooted in Purpose

As a minority- and woman-owned LLC with multiple sites in Florida, Leslie built LCC to bridge the gap for lower-income, non-traditional learners. Her early success designing career-laddering and certification programs for organizations like Humana, Concentra, MetCare, Atlanta Gastroenterology, and Holy Cross Medical Group laid the foundation for a broader vision.

LCC’s offerings have grown into a full online course library spanning healthcare, entrepreneurship, agriculture, customer service, leadership, and beyond. Leslie’s certification prep roots expanded into robust workforce development programs that serve individual learners, businesses, and organizations in any industry.

In every partnership, she offers not just training, but transformation—by blending Train-the-Trainer models into scalable programs that empower both educators and learners. She now designs full courses and curriculum packages for nonprofits, startups, corporate training teams, and government partners who want to build, grow, and serve with impact.

Outside the traditional career paths, Leslie is passionate about promoting healthier lifestyles through agricultural education. She teaches communities how to grow their own food, improve nutrition, and reclaim health through sustainable, low-cost practices. With support from the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability and Resilience in Atlanta, Georgia, LCC recently won a grant to train aspiring growers and educators in addressing food deserts through home gardening and distance learning. This initiative promotes food security, economic opportunity, and climate-conscious living.

Whether teaching job skills or growing herbs in urban gardens, Leslie’s mission remains the same: to give back, to build up, and to educate for a better tomorrow. LCC is a one-stop eLearning hub offering certification prep, Train-the-Trainer programs, digital course content development, and learning management system (LMS) hosting—serving individuals, communities, and organizations across the U.S. and globally.
