How to Build Simple Trellises & Inexpensive Containers for Gardening

Materials You Can Use:

  • Containers: Buckets, totes, crates, grow bags, reused nursery pots

  • Trellis Supports: Bamboo poles, sticks, old bed frames, lattice

  • Tie Materials: Garden twine, string, twist ties, soft cloth strips

 

💡 Tip: Drill a few holes in the bottom of your container to prevent root rot and create good drainage.
