Our certification-aligned courses are built to prepare learners for national credentialing exams while developing job-ready skills in high-demand healthcare fields. Each course includes a blend of instructional videos, downloadable tools, and hands-on assignments to support practical application and exam readiness.

Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA)

Prepares students for the NHA CCMA or AMT RMA certification exams.
Covers phlebotomy, EKG, injections, clinical procedures, and medical front office skills.

Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)

Aligned with the NHA CPT certification.
Focuses on blood collection procedures, lab safety, specimen handling, and basic anatomy.

Electrocardiograph Technician (CET)

Aligned with the NHA CET certification.
Covers lead placement, rhythm analysis, cardiac anatomy, and EKG interpretation.

Certified Billing & Coding Specialist (CBCS)

Aligned with the NHA CBCS certification.
Covers ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, claims processing, insurance billing, and reimbursement systems.

Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS)

Aligned with the NHA CEHRS certification.
Trains students in digital charting, patient data entry, compliance, and records management.

Coming in 2027: Expanded Nursing Education Track

The LC Career Center is currently developing a foundational course track designed to support students preparing for entry into Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs.While this track will not lead directly to licensure, it is built to align with core competencies required in accredited nursing schools. Students will explore subjects such as Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Dosage Calculations, Clinical Reasoning, and Professional Communication.Ideal for adult learners, career changers, and healthcare assistants, this preparatory program is structured to build academic readiness and confidence before applying to nursing school.
Courses will be delivered in a hybrid format and include:

• Downloadable study tools
